ATTENTION…ATTENTION… All students who love silly bands here’s your chance to win over 100 silly bands and rings.

Ages: 5-10

Duration: October 1, 2010 – October 31, 2010

Prize: over 100 silly bands!!!

Each student will compete to see who can complete and memorize the most songs!!! This includes songs in your lesson book as well as performance literature!!!! Once the student learns a song they will practice and memorize it during the week. Once they return to lessons they will perform the song or songs from memory. The amount of songs the student wants to learn is completely up to them.

  Students can earn extra points by:

1.Completing practice requirements

2. being well prepared for lessons with books and music

3.  counting rhythm while playing.

4. Completing a biography on a composer

Everyone will benefit from song memorization because it enhances the performer’s listening skills, it makes them more alert as a performer. It also benefits their daily life by establishing the ability to memorize numbers, patterns, and even words.
